Lillooet Station Bridge (Ministry of Transportation) 2020

Antares is undertaking the roadbed preparation for the replacement of the Lillooet Station Bridge under the Prime Contractor, DCL Construction Services Ltd.  Antares is also removing the old Acrow bridge structure for return to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

​Antares Construction LLP provided construction management, labour and civil services for BC Hydro's Prime Contractor, Allteck Line Contractors.  Civil services were provided by locally by Summit Blasting from Lillooet, BC.  The Antares crew were all members of Sekw'el'was and neighbouring St'at'imc communities and had a key role in the successful completion of the ground work.  The relocation was finished ahead of schedule, preventing the need for a second planned outage by BC Hydro.

Seton Canal Refurbishment (BC Hydro) 2017

Antares was Prime Contractor for the refurbishment of a 3.8km concrete-lined power canal located in Lillooet BC.  The Seton Canal is a critical structure in the Bridge River system with impacts to water resource management. It is also normally the sole water source for two fish-bearing spawning channels.

​While repairing the concrete lining and the deteriorating expansion joints were a primary objective, significant environmental planning  and a multi-disciplinary effort was essential in the projects success in delivering quality while minimizing impacts to wildlife.

Cheakamus Penstock Inspection (BC Hydro) 2016

Antares was Prime Contractor for the condition assessment and non-destructive testing inspection of the interior and exterior surfaces of the penstocks at Cheakamus Generating Station outside Squamish BC. The inspection of penstocks represent a unique challenge due to the combination of high-angle access and rescue requirements, confined space procedures, and potential exposures to lead and hazardous waste created during the work. We worked with our client, subcontractors, and safety professionals to ensure the inspection was both detailed and completed safely.

​Lil'Tem' Hotel (Tsal'alh Development Corp.) 2014

Antares provided planning, permitting and development services for Tsal'alh Development Corp. and was the General Contractor for the construction of the Tsal'alsh owned Lil'tem' Hotel.  Situation in the remote community of Seton Portage, the hotel offers 42 comfortable rooms with modern amenities and provide for both workforce accommodation as well as recreational usage.

Other recent projects:

• Bridge Artwork Program (2020) As part of the replacement of the Lillooet Station bridge, Antares is managing the development and installation of the public art being designed by Spiritworks and Sekw'el'was local artists.  The art pieces will include a copper mural depicting the rich culture and history of Sekw'el'was and the Lillooet area.  The installation will be completed in November 2020.    
• BC Hydro Interior Office Renovation (2020) Antares is providing General Contracting services to PCL Construction, the Prime Contractor for BC Hydro Interior Office Renovation.  The BC Hydro district office located in Lillooet BC was constructed in 1974 and required significant interior upgrades to modernize the facility.
• Lil' Quills Daycare (2020) Antares is providing Owner's Representative services for the design and construction of the Lil'Quills daycare and playground facility.  The Design-Build manufacturer is Pinridge Modular Ltd.  The daycare facility will be complete November 2020.  
• Waterline Relocation (2019) Antares is overseeing the design and relocation of the Cayoose waterline as pre-construction realignment for the Lillooet Station Bridge Replacement.
• Under a Pilot Partnership initiative Antares is working with the Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure to provide project management and planning services for the replacement of the Lillooet Station Bridge.
• N'Quatqua Daycare Fire Suppression Upgrade (2018)  Antares provided project management services for the upgrade and replacement of fire system and plumbing.
• Seton Dam Stoplog Replacement (2017). Antares is overseeing the fabrication of new stoplogs for Seton Dam and the Cayoosh Creek Diversion Tunnel.
• Ten Mile Slide (2016). Antares provided technical advisory to the Xaxli'p Fountain Band during discussions with CN Rail for proposed slide mitigation measures.
• Cayoose Community Water System Upgrade (2016). Antares provided feasibility consultation and owner representation for a proposed upgrade to a community water system.
• Walden North IPP Owner's Representation (2016). 
• BC Hydro Seton Lake Recreational Area Safety Upgrades (2016). Antares acted as Prime Contractor on the installation of various public safety measures at the Seton Lake Recreational Area located on the east shore of Seton Lake.
• BC Hydro SI-ITS-171 Pole Relocation (2015). Antares provided traffic control and safety for BC Hydro crews replacing power poles along the SI-ITS-171 line.
• Seton Spawning Channel Salmon Outmigration Study (2015)
• Nakusp Boat Launch (2015) Antares provided construction management for the boat ramp construction for BC Hydro.
